DIY How to connect to HDMI port of TV to your laptop and then extend the display using windows settings.

 If you want to connect your laptop to your TV via HDMI and extend the display using Windows settings, you can follow these steps: 1-Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your laptop’s HDMI port. If your laptop doesn’t have an HDMI port, you may need an HDMI adapter or a docking station with an HDMI port12. 2-Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV’s HDMI port. Make a note of which HDMI port you use and change your TV’s source to match it12. 3-On your laptop, press Win + P to open the Windows Project option. It will appear just like the Windows action center3. 4-Select Extend to have your TV act as a second screen for your laptop. You can also choose Duplicate to mirror your laptop’s screen on your TV, or Second screen only to use your TV as the primary display24. 5-Adjust the resolution and orientation settings if needed.
